Sean Kreyling, Remimagining Education 
'Beyond the Mission: from DEI Intentions to DEI Actions'


  Sean Kreyling is a career K-12 educator and social impact consultant.
Sean speaks four languages, serves on the board of legal justice non-profit, is an accomplished world language educator, and partners with schools in need of world language curriculum and instruction. Sean has designed and implemented trainings on topics including cultural competence, edtech, special education, and culturally responsive pedagogy. His degrees include Organizational Leadership (The Pennsylvania State University) and Educational Leadership, Reggio Emilia Approach (Antioch University). He begins his EdD in Educational & Professional Practice: Multicultural & Antiracist
Education this spring.


Tanya Rumble, CFRE 
'The Language of Inclusion'


Tanya Hannah Rumble, CFRE is a fundraising leader who has raised millions for some of Canada's largest charities including Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, McMaster University and now Ryerson University. Tanya has developed highly effective volunteer fundraising and leadership volunteer committees in all her roles in the NFP sector including overseeing 200 leadership volunteers and 10,000 day-of volunteers for the annual CIBC Run for the Cure. Tanya is passionate about equity, diversity and inclusion; and power and privilege and how these intersect with philanthropy. She is deeply engaged in transforming the philanthropic sector as a leadership volunteer in the sector, intrepreneur in the organizations where she works and governs, as a writer and speaker in the fundraising sector, and as a mentor. Tanya holds an Honours Bachelor or Arts in Political Science from McMaster, earned a Masters Certificate at NYU and also holds numerous certifications and specialized training.

Breanna Dorelus
'Telling the Truth During Volunteer Training'


Breauna Dorelus is the Founder and Chief Cause Consultant at Connecting the Cause, a consultancy dedicated to helping volunteers and those that lead them identify and uproot harmful volunteer practices specifically towards Black and brown communities. She is an advocate for voices of color to
be heard, recognized and valued in the service and volunteerism sector and believes in keeping the community centered in all aspects of the volunteer process. Breauna's work is built on the principle that transformational service must help instead of harm.

Dr. Sue Carter Kahl, PhD.
'Pushing Back on Privilege in Volunteerism'


Sue is the President of Sue Carter Kahl Consulting and has 25 years of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. Her work is infused with lessons learned as a nonprofit executive and staff member, volunteer, and researcher. She is passionate about bridging theory and practice in volunteerism. Her current focus is on identifying overlooked dynamics within service and translating research into practitioner-friendly resources such as workshops or blogs at VolunteerCommons.com.

Sue has a PhD in Leadership Studies, a Master's in Social Work, and a certificate in Nonprofit Management. She serves as a volunteer coach for nonprofit executives through the Fieldstone Leadership Network and spends her free time hiking, gardening, and reading.
