Free Webinar November 4- CCVA's New Certification Process

The Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration (CCVA) has changed the way you earn your professional certification.  Find out more at a free webinar on November 4 at 3 pm Eastern, Noon Pacific presented by Katie Campbell, CVA and Executive Director of the CCVA, hosted by AL!VE. This webinar is open to the first 23 attendees.  Priority will be given to AL!VE members.

AL!VE Board Member Recruitment Begins Soon!

Interested in expanding your professional development?  Consider becoming a board member with AL!VE.  Nominations open soon.

Board members serve from January 1 - December 31 and meet monthly via electronic meeting software and work on special projects to assist AL!VE with acheiving its mission and goals.

We heard you! New Membership Rates and Levels

Thanks to all of those who responded to our member survey earlier this year.  We heard you - and are pleased to present our new membership rates and structure:

Individual membership remains at $50 per 12 month period.
Individual membership will drop to $35 if you belong to a group who is a member of AL!VE.
       Individual member benefits include:
  •  discounts for professional development webinars (free or reduced cost)
  •  leadership opportunities
  •  regularly scheduled online networking sessions with your peers
  •  discounts on earning your CVA (Certification in Volunteer Administration)
  •  and more!
Group membership (local volunteer manager associations or agencies with multiple volunteer management staff) rate changes:

1-50 members—$100 per 12 month period and 3 contacts have access to AL!VE member database
51-100 members $175  per 12 month period and 7 contacts have access to AL!VE member database
101 + members  $ 250  101 per 12 month period and 10 contacts have access to AL!VE member database

Welcome to our newest Group Member!

 AL!VE's newest Group Member is the Mid-Valley Volunteer Manager's Association.






MVVMA serves volunteer management professionals in Oregon's mid-Willamette Valley and includes a membership of non profit and government volunteer programs.  Monthly professional development workshops, quarterly signature trainings, an email networking list, and an annual peer recognition event are some of the events provided to their local members.

As an AL!VE Group member, all MVVMA members receive member discounts to webinars, trainings, and priority registration and access to AL!VE's quarterly  Group Networking sessions (see more in an article elsewhere in this issue)
