Refunds for Tax-Exempt Organizations

Tax-exempt agencies can receive a refund for taxes paid on Bonfire purchases by following these instructions.

  1. Place an order in the AL!VE Supporter Store.
  2. Contact the Bonfire support team by navigating to https://www.bonfire.com/contact/.
  3. Click the 'I have an issue with my order’ button.
  4. You will need to provide this info:
    • Your tax exemption certificate
    • Your order number
    • The email used at checkout
    • The full name used at checkout
  5. The Bonfire team will then retroactively refund the sales taxes on the purchase.
  6. This process isn't automatic, so you will need to inform Bonfire each time you place an order that requires a tax refund. You only need to provide your certificate once, though.
