National Summit on Volunteer Engagement

That's a wrap on the 2026 National Summit on Volunteer Engagement! Hosted by the Association of Leaders in Volunteer Engagement (AL!VE), this year’s Summit brought together nonprofit, government, and corporate professionals from across the country to ignite their passion for innovation, unlock their potential, and strengthen connections across our field.

The Highlights

Over three inspiring days, attendees engaged in dynamic sessions, thought-provoking conversations, and hands-on learning experiences designed to challenge how we think about volunteer engagement and elevate how we measure, communicate, and deliver impact. From reimagining metrics to exploring emerging trends and tools, the Summit created space for both reflection and forward momentum.

But beyond the sessions, what truly defined this year’s Summit was the energy. There was an undeniable sense of community, collaboration, and shared purpose. New ideas were sparked, partnerships were formed, and a renewed commitment to advancing volunteer engagement was felt in every room.

As we look ahead, the connections made and insights gained will continue to shape our work, our organizations, and the future of the field. More photos and a full recap will be coming soon.
