Our Industry Socials are monthly, virtual gatherings open to anyone involved in volunteer engagement who is interested in connecting with peers, sharing experiences, and building professional relationships across the field.
Overview
AL!VE Industry Socials provide an informal space for volunteer engagement professionals to connect, network, and discuss what’s happening in the field at both regional and national levels. These sessions are intentionally flexible and conversational, allowing participants to join as their schedule allows and engage in peer-driven discussion.
Industry Socials are designed to be inclusive and accessible to professionals at all career stages, whether you are new to volunteer engagement or a seasoned leader.
What to Expect
Meeting frequency: Held monthly
Meeting length: 45 minutes
Time: 4:00-4:45 PM Eastern
Format: Virtual, informal networking and peer discussion
During each Industry Social, participants can expect to:
- Connect with volunteer engagement professionals from a variety of sectors
- Participate in live, peer-driven conversations
- Ask questions, share challenges, and exchange ideas
- Join late or leave early as schedules allow
- Enjoy door prizes, networking, and camaraderie

Audience & Cost
Open to all professionals in the field of volunteer engagement. AL!VE membership is not required. There is no cost to attend.
Registration
Industry Socials are added to the AL!VE calendar in advance of each session. Registration is required to receive access details, reminders, and information about door prizes. Register on the calendar to join an upcoming Industry Social.
