Since 2014, Better Impact has proudly partnered with AL!VE to co-host the volunteer engagement sector’s only hybrid online conference. Local Volunteer Administrator Networks host remote viewing sites, combining the benefits of in-person networking with access to nationally recognized presenters via live stream. Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration (CCVA)

Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA) is a globally recognized professional certification for leaders in volunteer engagement. Originally developed by the Association for Volunteer Administration (AVA), the program is now administered by the CCVA.

The CVA credential distinguishes practitioners who meet rigorous standards in volunteer resources management, demonstrated through a comprehensive exam and a written professional portfolio. This flexible, self-paced certification process requires no travel or in-person classes, making it accessible to professionals worldwide. Individuals with at least three years of experience in volunteer management are eligible to apply.

International Journal of Volunteer Administration (IJOVA)

IJOVA is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the field of volunteerism and volunteer management. IJOVA serves as a practical resource and platform for the exchange of ideas, research, and insights among practitioners, scholars, and consultants in North America and around the world.

Since January 2018, IJOVA has been proudly hosted by AL!VE and is now available as an open-source publication, making its valuable content accessible to the global volunteer engagement community.

International Volunteer Managers Day  (IVMD)

IVMD is a global celebration held every November 5 to honor the dedicated professionals who lead, support, and inspire volunteers in communities around the world. It is a day to recognize the vital role that leaders of volunteer engagement play in mobilizing people and driving positive change through service.
